The Rainbow Bobble Blanket
When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter (our first, and likely only, child!), I instantly began thinking about what handmade treasures I could craft for her in the coming months. A cozy blanket seemed like the perfect starting place, and it was such a joy to design this baby-friendly blanket pattern as we eagerly awaited her arrival.
About the Pattern
Filled with bright, cheerful colors and made from super soft yet durable yarn, the Rainbow Bobble Blanket presents a modern and playful take on multicolored stripes. (Seriously - the Feels Like Butta yarn from Lion Brand Yarns used in this pattern is machine washable and dryable!) The striped bobbles are complemented with a bobble border along all four sides.
This pattern uses a variety of basic stitches and easy color changes, ideal for an enthusiastic beginner! And because I love creating flexible blanket designs, this pattern includes instructions for making it any size! The blanket I stitched up (and is featured in this pattern's photos) measures 34.5" x 35.5". Of course, you're welcome to use your favorite yarn and adapt the design to fit your dream color palette (I think this would look so dreamy in a single color, too!).
